Mariah Carey has signed a deal with Pepsi to write and record ringtones that will be used in a promotion with Motorola phones. Carey will create 20 original music and voice ringtones for the promotion.
She’ll also appear in commercials that will begin running in May.

Are Denise Richards and rocker Richie Sambora may become the latest Hollywood couple? Maybe so, but the most scandallous couple du jour, too.

According to Entertainment Online, Denise Richards and Richie Sambora who have both been making headlines for their impending divorces, from Charlie Sheen and Heather Locklear, respectively, were spotted kissing in Los Angeles.

Denise Richards filed court papers against her estranged husband and on the same day, a judge granted her a restraining order, ordering that Sheen maintain his distance from her and their two young daughters.
Charlie Sheen has told ET he believes the allegations are “baseless” and a “smear campaign.” He added that Denise Richards is, “the only one entirely culpable for putting these radical allegations out for public consumption … my children included.” Source

CHRISTINA AGUILERA PLANS NEW VIDEO, “AIN’T NO OTHER MAN.”
Pop sensation Christina Aguilera is shooting her first music video for her upcoming album, Back To Basics. The video will be shot with elements from both the ’30s swing era and the current day compliments of director Bryan Barber according to Video Static.

The album, Back to Basics, is inspired by the soul, jazz and blues music of the ‘20s, ‘30s and ‘40s. Ex- 4 Non Blondes singer and current hot industry collaborator Linda Perry also assisted Aguilera on such tracks as “Candy Man” and “Save Myself From Me,” the latter of which is dedicated to Aguilera’s new husband.

Back To Basics will be released on RCA records in the summer of 2006.
