Jessica Simpson Wearing Wedding Ring, Again

Not to be outdone by her former flame Nick Lachey in the headline department, Jessica Simpson created a buzz today with a mention on People.com … the reason? She’s wearing her wedding ring again, albeit, around her neck.

“You can still move on and have the memories,” a Simpson insider tells PEOPLE.
The source also told the mag that Simpson, 25, still keeps in touch with her soon-to-be-ex-hubby, Nick Lachey, 32. “Nick will always be an important part of her life.”

Along with her wedding band, Simpson also wears two crosses on the chain, one from her folks and the other is a copy of a cross worn by her mom Tina, and her little sis, Ashlee.

The items around Jessica’s neck are “a combination of things that are important to her,” reports the source.

As for Lachey, an insider in his camp says, “He wants Jessica to be happy … But they’ve both moved on.” Source

Mariah Carey on Pepsi

R & B diva Mariah Carey has sold her plentiful ass to Pepsi in a lucrative endorsement deal.

Carey will be writing and producing 20 exclusive ring tones as well as starring in TV commercials for the fizzy drink.

According to ContactMusic, Carey said in a statement: “I had a lot of fun with this project.

“It was a great creative outlet because musically I could do things here that I would never think to do for one of my albums.

“This was a great idea by Pepsi, and I’m happy to be a part of it.”

I bet bank balance is groaning under the weight of all that money…other stars to sell out to Pepsi include David Beckham, Beyonce Knowles and Gwen Stefani. source

Kelly Clarkson Summer Tour

American Idol winner turned hipster guilty pleasure, Kelly Clarkson, will be coming to a city near you this summer. Flip the hood over your head, don those dark shades, and head to the box office.

Ms. Clarkson will tour in support of her 2004 smash, Breakaway, one more time before she heads into the studio to record another album. That means you’ve got one last chance to subtly bob your head and pretend you’re not mouthing every line as the starlet belts, “Since U Been Gone.”

Along the trek, which kicks off on June 30 in West Palm Beach, Clarkson will roadtest some new material for her upcoming album, according to Billboard.com.
