Brett Ratner returning for more “X-Men” or “Wolverine”?
MTV.com (http://www.mtv.com) recently interviewed Vinny Jones, who stars in Dreamworks’ “She’s the Man” and also the forthcoming “X-Men 3: The Last Stand” and hinted that “X3” director Brett Ratner (who replaced Bryan Singer) may return for “X4” and “X5″…and possibly the “Wolverine” movie?
“I said this to Brett the other day, and he was saying that they’ll probably use a lot of the characters,” Jones said, implying that the director will also return alongside star Hugh Jackman in “Wolverine.” “Hopefully [the Wolverine/ Juggernaut rivalry] will come into it. Pop singer Kelly Clarkson announced Thursday that her Israel concerts will be cancelled due to a throat illness. Major sponsor of the concerts Partner Telecom (owner of Orange Israel) is expected to suffer a heavy loss as a result.
Clarkson, who enjoys immense popularity in Israel, has already cancelled a Paris concert, and held a short concert in Berlin on Wednesday. Her doctors, however, instructed her to cease from any singing activities because her condition has worsened.
The cancelled concert is expected to cause Partner Telecom heavy losses estimated at several million shekels. The company invested approximately $400,000, in a massive advertising campaign as part of its marketing policy.
Another investment Partner had made was in tickets at a significant price reduction for its customers. All tickets were sold out several hours after sales began. Partner emphasized that all ticket buyers will be fully refunded.
Clarkson is the first winner of the U.S. reality TV show American Idol. After winning she quickly became one of the most popular singers in the U.S. and around the world. Source

According to the latest reports, Carey has agreed to do her first TV commercial spot with Intel – after being convinced by the star factor already on board.
“Mariah is asked to do commercials every day but when she heard that Lucy Liu, Seal and John Cleese had all done the Intel adverts, she agreed,” a source is quoted in Britain’s Daily Star newspaper as saying.Source
Sharon Stone, who returns as the seductive Catherine Tramell in “Basic Instinct 2,” says she has no problem doing a nude scene — if it’s right for the role.
“It’s pretty easy for me to be naked,” the 48-year-old actress said Wednesday. “I’m a person who feels that if it’s appropriate for the character I’m playing or the mood of the piece, then it’s no big thing.”
Stone is famously known for her “leg crossing” scene in 1992’s “Basic Instinct,” which also starred Michael Douglas.
The actress said she wouldn’t object to her children seeing the movies — but added that it’s not going to be anytime soon.
“When they’re old enough to see that kind of material, then they’re old enough to see that kind of material,” said Stone, who has two young sons.
Stone, who was nominated for a best actress Oscar for 1995’s “Casino,” said she was happy that she didn’t try to lie about her age to get roles after she turned 40. “You have to give them you until you is what they want,” she said. “Basic Instinct 2” will be released later this month. Phoenix and Witherspoon starred as Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash in the film and the video.
Witherspoon won the Best Actress Oscar for her work in ‘Walk The Line’.
They are now in the running for Collaborative Video of the Year along with Bon Jovi featuring Jennifer Nettles (‘Who Says You Can’t Go Home’), Brad Paisley featuring Dolly Parton (‘When I Get Where I’m Going’) and Faith Hill with Tim McGraw (‘Like We Never Loved At All’).
Hill, Brooks & Dunn, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Trace Adkins and Carrie Underwood are all triple nominees.
